Air compressor is the most important data parameters

1, exhaust volume
Under the rated exhaust pressure, the volume of gas discharged by the air compressor per unit time is converted to the volume of gas in the intake state, which is the exhaust volume of the air compressor (that is, the volume flow), the unit is: m³/min.
In popular terms, the exhaust volume of the air compressor refers to the number of cubic meters of air inhaled by the machine intake port per minute, not the number of cubic meters of compressed air discharged by the machine exhaust port per minute.

2.Exhaust pressure
The exhaust pressure of the air compressor refers to the gas pressure that is finally discharged from the compressor, and the unit is: Mpa. Air compressor industry commonly used “kg” as a pressure unit, 1 kg =0.1Mpa.
The exhaust pressure on the air compressor name tag is called the rated exhaust pressure, and it is also the maximum exhaust meter pressure allowed by the compressor. Exhaust volume and exhaust pressure are two very important parameters of air compressor.

3. air compressor exhaust temperature
Air compressor exhaust temperature refers to the temperature of the air discharged from the exhaust port of the main engine (head) of the air compressor, and the unit is °C. Compressor exhaust temperature is an important index of compressor safety.
Due to the nature of the compressed gas, the temperature resistance of lubricating oil, sealing material, rotor clearance and other factors, the exhaust temperature is limited, and the exhaust temperature is an important performance parameter of air compressor units.

4, the unit input power
Unit input power refers to the total input power of the air compressor unit (measured from the three-phase input bus), the unit is: kW.

5.Unit input specific power
Unit input specific power refers to the air compressor under the specified exhaust pressure, unit input power and displacement ratio, unit input specific power = unit input power/displacement, the unit is: kW/(m³/min).
According to the “GB19153 Positive Displacement air compressor energy efficiency Limit value and energy efficiency grade”, the specific power of air compressor units under different pressures, each energy efficiency grade limit value is different.

6.Air compressor unit (air compressor station) gas-electricity ratio
The gas-electricity ratio of the air compressor unit (air compressor station) refers to the power consumed by the air compressor unit (air compressor station) for each 1 cubic meter of compressed air (converted into an aspirated state) when working, and the unit is kWH/m³. ■ Calculation formula: D =E/G ■ D= air-power ratio of air compressor unit (kWH/m³)
■ E= Total electricity consumption of air compressor unit (kW*H)
■ G= The total amount of air supplied by the air compressor during the measurement period (inspiratory state)(m³)
The gas-electric ratio value at a certain pressure can be divided by the specific power value at the pressure by 60 to get: gas-electric ratio = specific power /60.

7.Diameter calculation of compressed air pipeline
In principle, the pressure drop of the distribution pipe should not exceed 5% of the pressure used by the air compressor, so the calculated value should be adjusted according to the standard pipe size table. Among them:
■ d= compressed air pipe diameter (mm);
■ Q= Air compressor nameplate displacement (m³/min)
■ p= air compressor exhaust pressure (gauge pressure) (MPa);
■ V= Economic flow rate of compressed air in the pipeline (m/s).
Economic flow rate in the pipeline reference:
When the exhaust pressure =0.1-0.6MPa,10-20m/s;
0.6-1.0MPa, 10-15m/s;
For 1.0-2.0MPa, 8-10m/s.

8.Estimation of the size of the gas storage tank
■ Vc= minimum volume of buffer tank, unit cubic meter (m³);
■ Q0= Air volume required by the pneumatic system to maintain normal operation (m³/min);
■ Q outside = inlet gas supply of gas storage tank (m³/min);
■ p1= Pressure of gas stored in gas storage tank (MPa);
■ p2= The lowest allowable pressure (MPa) of gas in the gas storage tank.
The estimated results can be adjusted according to the storage tank volume specified in JB/T8867 “Fixed Reciprocating piston Air compressor Storage tank” : 0.3, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12.

9, the following gas storage tank selection experience data for reference (Q: air compressor (station) steam volume, minimum volume of gas storage tank).
a). Q<6m³/min, Vc=0.2Q b).Q = 6-30 m³/min, Vc= 0.15Q c). When Q> 30 m³/min, Vc= 0.1Q

10.When the air compressor exhaust volume is not enough and the pressure does not go up, the air compressor exhaust volume that needs to be increased is determined, including:
OQ- Increased air compressor displacement m³/min;
Q original – original air compressor displacement m³/min; .
p real – the target working pressure bar that the system needs to achieve;
P-the working pressure bar that can be reached by the original air compressor used.
